Re: Printing from SD card and pausing printer.

I am using SD3 for printing. How do you pause the printing when printing from SD card?
I know the emergency stop works but the pause is grayed out.

Printing from SD card and pausing printer.

If I print from SD card can you pause the printer?
Do most people always print from SD card. If you don’t print from the SD card do you ever have issues with the data not getting to the printer fast enough and messing up the print?
I am just trying to figure out the best way to do things.

Re: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) on the printer

No I have not tested it yet. We hardly ever lose power. But from time to time it will go off and back on. We will get thunder storms soon this should help then also. I keep these UPS's on my DVR's and my DSL Router.
My house beeps like crazy when we do loose power.

Re: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) on the printer

APC, 550VA similar to the one below but a little bigger. I got it on sale for about $50

It is really just protecting that power blip so a smaller one will work fine.

Re: Thar she blows

I have only had my printer about a week. This is the only thing I have seen printed out of Natural PLA.
I will look at more things printed out of it before I order any.

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) on the printer

I told my wife I was going to put a Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) on the printer last night in case the power blips we would not ruin a long print. Will good idea just to late we were ½ way through a 6 and ½ print and the power went off for three seconds. That was enough to stop the printer we ha...
