Re: No heat in the bed

I probably will end up pulling and replacing that connector when I get some time. Does anybody know what that style terminal is called?

Re: No heat in the bed

The connection to the RAMBO board is the problem. Looking in there, it turns out that there's been some heat damage and the plastic has melted, which would explain the weird smell I had recently noticed. When the heater is on, the voltage between the two wires, measured at the socket, is between 10 ...

However, the sucker keeps coming loose. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: No heat in the bed

How embarrassing!

Once again, I've solved the problem seconds after posting about it, and once again, the issue was the same.

Turns out the connector between the HBP wire terminal and the RAMBO board was loose.

No heat in the bed

Hey folks, So I'm having an issue with the heated bed on my machine. Most of the time it never turn on, but every once in a while it does. I've got the old two brick power supply and am running Simplify. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The voltages at the terminals of the power blocks read 12,...

Re: First print: some gaps and blobs

That is, indeed the sample twist hex. It was the first thing I printed after leveling the bed and setting the z endstop.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try it again at a lower speed and with the temperature increase and see how it goes.

First print: some gaps and blobs

Hi Folks, So I'm pretty happy with my first print, given that the machine is barely calibrated. Already it is much better than anything I got out of my Cupcake. However, I know it can be much much better than it is, so I'd love your feedback. This was printed at 100 mm/sec via pronterface http://i10...

Re: Y Axis grinding

Ah!
The motor connection to the main board had come just a little bit loose, but not entirely disconnected. Works like a charm now. On to bed leveling!

Y Axis grinding

Hi everybody, I just picked up a used M2 this weekend and am excited to get it running. I have a first gen Cupcake that was a good handful of years overdue for replacement, so I'm jazzed to have this new machine. Right now I'm running it through Pronterface, but I plan on upgrading to Simplify soon....
