Here's a bogus answer, but it's worked for me for about a year... Press the wire back into connector, then force-fit the end of a toothpick into the connector to hold it firm. No solder req'd -- CBE (crude but effective)

You need to set the length of extrude/reverse by entering an amount under the "extrude" button. Also set the speed (under the "reverse" button). I typically set the speed to 30-40mm/sec. The length depends on what you're doing, say 50mm to make sure that everything is fully working, or 10mm just to ...

Has anyone tried "soft PLA"? Matter Hackers has an interesting video posted that shows it being used as a "living" hinge.
