Re: Need Flexible Filament advice
Hate posting replies to my post ;-) Got the Ninjafles. Managed to get it to print but not really well. I guess most of the issue is the filament drive. I have adjusted the tension to get the best flow and have the spool suspended over the printer for gravity assist. Print speed is 10mms, temp 230, n...

Re: new "used" M2 Rev E question
That is usable for now but will need to be replaced. When I bought mine it came with a roll of 2" tape and I went and bought an extra roll. In hind sight, I should have gotten the big roll that covers in one piece. That said, the process is a bit of an art. There is a post on here someplace of a jig...

Need Flexible Filament advice
Hey, I want to get some flexible filament for a couple of uses. One is to print some stepper motor dampers. I don't like the Steel/rubber/Steel type I have, which only attach in 2 places to the frame and are rather thick making the cog end up near the end of the shaft. I realize a 1.2 mm gaskets bet...

Re: No Need To Slic3r, Native .g and .gcode Files
Then you had better forget about 3d printing, it is not plug and play yet so if your not willing to learn how to use the slicer your not going to have a lot of luck with 3d printing.

Re: M2 X/Y carriage buzzing sound
I spent months with a similar noise that occurred during slow circles and moves! I needed to remove the belt, build plate and heater to tighten all 4 screws that hold the belt bracket to the spider which were slightly loose. My stepper was vibrating at low speed (doing circles) and the belt transmit...

Re: Question on octoprint and M2
Asked what I needed a few months ago http://forum.makergear.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6674 I ended up with a Pi, and octopi (image of octoprint for the pi, one stop shop) Printed a case, hardwaired it as the wifi was not so good on the pi B3+ or at least the one I got for CanaKits. Had an old monitor ...

Re: Octoprint Upgrade Issue
Thanks Jason. Appreciate the response and honesty. @airscapes, I used a Pi3 running Octopi with Octolapse and so far havent had any issues. I wanted to use it but when I installed it there was no data for the M2.. forget if it was a profile or what but I just removed it. Then saw a lot of post wher...

Re: Nozzle Has a Gap/Not Flush with Heater Block
Make sure there isn't any plastic hanging out of the hot end. I did that with a normal nozzle once.. Don't have a .75 so no idea.
