Re: Need some advice on how to respond

I agree about learning design software first. You need to first decide if you want parametric cad software or direct cad (no history or feature tree). Im a solidworks fan but its expensive.

Trying to run desktop machines for income is a quick path to poverty. my accepted quotes drop off dramatically any higher than that. I hand the model to Shapeways, pick their cheap nylon p...

Re: Dual Extruder Upgrade - Limited Availability

Thank You. We are just waiting for a printer that comes pre-assembled, pre-configured with dual extruders on it. This year should bring about many ready-made dual extruder printers, so I would guess that MakerGear has those plans as well.

Re: Dual Extruder Upgrade - Limited Availability

I will order once it comes pre-installed on the machine. My understanding is swapping extruders is a PITA.. No quick disconnect or wire quick connect plugs.

Re: Materials printed on M2

Is there a list of most all the main flexible filaments with properties? Looking for something still very flexible and rubber-ish but maybe a little less ozzy/stringy than Ninjaflex.

Re: Anybody willing to do a 2-part print, rigid & ninjaflex?

Thanks ista.. We tried it on a Replicator 2x and the NinjaFlex part just turned into a stingy gobbled mess. Im beginning to realize maybe this material is too soft for extrusion, maybe the company did also.. they now have another material called SemiFlex http://www.ninjaflex3d.com/products/ninjaflex...
