Re: The State of the Gear
I have no doubt that I will be super happy with my purchase. I would just love for Makergear to throw me something to "chew-on" while I wait. i.e. user guides, videos, photos, M3 Dual detailed specs...... Something for me to learn about the machine and using it before it arrives. Agreed. I still wa...

Re: The State of the Gear
yeah, I'll throw in for an M2 upgrade to the regular M3. I'm gonna remove the dual extruder from my M2 as is - it's more of a hassle for me than it was worth

Re: Brittle Black PLA
Either way, not a huge deal since I'm so far through the spool as is, but I have a hard time believing that there can be a tangle on a brand new spool at the top layer (that goes unnoticed somehow while printing) that can work its way down to near the end of the spool. But what do I know? I don't pu...

Re: Brittle Black PLA
This comes up a lot ..... Overlaps are usually operator error and not the manufactures fault. When you change filament you let go of the end of the filament and it wraps back on the roll but it crosses under one of the other strands. Next time you run that roll the roll can continue to print for aw...

Removing the dual extruder
Hey all! After a little less than a year, I've realized that the dual extruder was kind of a waste for me.
Is there an easy guide to remove it, or is it basically just work backwards from the guide used to install it?
Thanks

Re: Brittle Black PLA
What if we didn't get brittle PLA, but it had a nasty overlap / tangle about 3/4 of the way through the roll? The other day, I heard a loud bang in the room with my M2, and when I went up I saw that the entire spool was yanked off of the holder and the filament had snapped due to overlapping filamen...

Re: The State of the Gear
eh I bought mine back in august with a dual extruder (which I will probably roll back to single extruder whenever I get a work break)
was just curious as some of the new features interested me, but not enough for a completely new purchase atm. This thing is an amazing machine.
