Re: Removing bed springs

The Rev. E machines do not have springs. The bed leveling procedure is completely different than the 3 point leveling you currently have. You would need to upgrade to the 4 point spider that solid mounts to the z platform.

Re: v2 extruder vs v4 extruder

I don't think the M2 was ever offered with the V2 hot end? I think they started with the V3A, then V3B came, and currently the V4. V3A = groove mounted heating element was nichrome wire wrapped and cemented in fire cement. Thermistor mounted on nozzle. V3B = groove mounted horizontally oriented cart...

Re: Bringing Fried M2 Back from Dead

The latest firmware you loaded onto the Rambo is the Rev. E firmware for the 4 point spider leveling and the z axis home switch at the bottom. I haven't seen Capt. John around here in awhile, but he has made some. I don't think his models are open for sharing though.

Re: Cracked Motor Mount

You should be able to print with the metal motor mount without the wiring enclosure. The wiring enclosure just secures the wires/connectors and makes it look tidy. You should be able to ziptie the wires together for just that one print.

Re: connecting PLA model parts -tip

You could try CA glue kicker. You glue up your parts and then spritz it over the joint and it should set the glue immediately.

Epoxy also works and comes in different working times such as 5 minutes or 30 minutes.
