Re: LCD screen user manual?
Whoops, I forgot about this myself. :) Thanks for the reply Jules. I did look at that Wiki page and I wasn't able to find anything here, which surprised me. What I am trying to do specifically is this. There is functionality built into the LCD screen interface to change the filament mid-print. When ...

Re: SD card question
Not sure if I understand what you mean. Unless you have the LCD upgrade or some other way of communicating with the printer, you do need S3D's Machine Control Panel to start the print.747skys wrote:Thanks, will try that. How about if I don't even open S3D before I start a print from the SD card?

Re: SD card question
Welcome to the forum!
Yes, like jsc said you have to pull the USB cable from the printer/computer. Then the printer will be unaffected. Don't use the disconnect button in Simplify3D or do a Safely Remove Hardware, or even close the software with it still connected. Just pull the plug.

Re: Snapped Hot End
does anyone know what type of PTFE these are lined with? I looked on Mcmaster and it looks like there is a few different kinds of PTFE choose from. Rick posted this back in February and I bookmarked the post...don't know if the design has been tweaked since then or not though... http://forum.makerg...

Re: Losing communication
That's interesting that pulling the plug seems to cause more problems for you. In a further attempt to help, I am going to spell out the exact process that allows me to avoid this problem every time. I apologize if this is exactly what you have already tried and it isn't working for you. I am presen...
