stringing with the standard settings
Hi all, I performed the CTRLV V3 test for the M3ID and the issue I encountered most is stringing, Now I know I should fiddle with the retraction settings, but as I'm really new I don't know how much or which settings. I'm using al the basic settings and PLA from makergear. 0.1mm layers. speed 50mm/s...

Re: thoughts on new M3 I dual
I have it now for a few weeks and am really happy with the Kruger. The only weakness I can spot is the fan located at the below the build plate, I had some poly support falling down. If a little piece gets in the fan it would ruin it I think. 20180105_144152.jpg I think I'm going to put some kind of...

Re: simplify3d M3 ID polysupport profile error
I fixed the adherence issues by cleaning the bed with acetone.
But it is still leaking a lot of polysupport. Anyone changed the settings for this profile to something working.

M3 ID bed adherence issues
I have some issue with bed adherrence, i'm using everything out of the box also the makergear fff files. But when I print a brim it warps and does not adhere, not with polysupport or normal PLA, when i print or supports sometimes after a while they let go of the plate. So far no issues with the 3d m...

Re: simplify3d M3 ID polysupport profile error
I tried multiple prints with this profile, but the brim it is printing is simply not adhering, with this settings, not with the polysupport but also not with the standard PLA

Re: simplify3d M3 ID polysupport profile error
I also think the temperature seetings of this profile are off, polysupport at 225 is not adhering to the bed. or am i doing something wrong? the PLA temp is set to 200 which is also a tad low right?

simplify3d M3 ID polysupport profile error
Hi all, Just tried the Polysupport profile for simplify3d for the first time but i got an error: the chosen infill layer interval has resulted in an infill width / height ratio below 1.2 I have found some solutions online, but as these are the standard profiles, do I just need to ignore the error? K...

Enclosure or not
I have finally ordered the M3-ID, just waiting for it to arrive. Now on to the next point, do you guys have an enclosure for your printer? There are some points I want to tackle using an enclosure: 1. The printer is in a cold area of the house (15 degree celcius 59 fahrenheit), So an enclore with a ...
