I notice that STl files I import into S3D are placed on their side. These are simple designs that were created in Fusion 360. Is that normal? After a few minutes of fiddling, I found I can chose place surface on bed/Command L then click on the bottom to get it to turn.
Thanks,
Jerold

UPS Power
I was considering using a spare UPS to power my M2. Is this advisable and are others using a UPS with their M2? I didnt see any mention of using a UPS in the beginner guide.

Since I am waiting for my M2, I decided to find some simple items to print and I found the link below. Do others use something like this with their M2? The beginner guide mentions them and I am not sure which one is recommended to print. M2 should arrive tomorrow. Getting stoked! http://www.thingive...

USB VS SD Card
Just a quick question. Is it better to use USB vs the SD Card for printing? Can you pause a print to change colors?

Re: The MakerGear Website - input requested
Have a How To section with videos like those on YouTube showing how to remove the nozzle and hot end. Maybe a library of videos showing tasks like clearing clogs and upgrading to dual extrudes among others. This would go along way to assuage anxieties a beginner may have maintaining or upgrading the...

Re: New M2 User
Thank you all!
I have prInted the manual and beginner manual and have started to look at cad videos on you tube.
Do I need to worry about getting a spare hot end/nozzle right away?
Thank you,
Jerold
