Hello, Last night my M2 left hot end starting to show a symptom of cooling off a few minutes after the print started. I figured it was the thermistor, but changing it did not help. I tried a completely different hot end and it still has this issue. What is odd is that once I stop the print, the hot ...

So the holes should be sized so the inserts just drop in with epoxy? Or do you put them in when the plastic is still warm?
Thank you,
jerold

Hole with Threads and Supports
Good Morning, I thought up a project yesterday to hold supplies that help us reduce central venous line infections in the ICU. I want to print my prototype design, but I have never printed models with threads before. I am not sure how to best orient this and if the supports in the threaded hole are ...

Re: Heat Set Insert for Ikea Camera Mount
used 2/56" screws Those would be 2-56 screws: #2 size = 0.086 inch major diameter, with 56 threads/inch. They're not metric M2 screws and will not fit M2 metric inserts. Similarly for 4-40 inch screws: #4 size = 0.112 inch diameter, with 40 threads/inch. Not equivalent to metric M4 screws. If you n...
