Re: Z-offset effects
I think I've got it.
So, if i"m printing at 0.2mm layer height, I could squish first layer to 0.15mm, and all other layers will be at 0.2 mm, and total model height will be 0.05mm short.
Correct?

Z-offset effects
Does Z-offset setting affect every layer, or only the first layer?

Zebra Plate:
1) Good settings for ABS?
2) Mount on top of glass plate, or don't use glass plate?

Re: Drawing for latest (V4?) Filament Drive
Thanks again Jules.
I don't see the download button for the items in that link. Sorry to trouble y'all, but I haven't learned to speak "GitHub".

Good/Best Material for Living Hinge
I plan to print the "Ada Hand", which has two flexible joints for each finger. The joints are a part of the model ... NOT printed separately. The "hinges" can be seen here: http://3dprintingindustry.com/2016/02/16/build-your-own-3d-printed-robotic-hand-in-less-than-an-hour/ What's a good material fo...

Re: Strategy for using S3D Variables
Thanks to all. I look forward to better prints, less frustration, more free time to explore & learn. Another of my unknowns involves the three macros available in S3D. * Where are they stored? I have the text of three that serve me well on my Michigan M2, but haven't found where to put them on my AZ...

Re: Strategy for using S3D Variables
" You can use the process file to create a set of FFF rules that apply to only part of a model - for instance you can set a process for Layers 1 through 40, and a separate process for layers 41 through 45, if you want it to go slower on the top 5 layers. You can change the layer size down for fine d...
