Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament
I'm trying eSUN PETG on M2 with E3D v6, .60mm nozzle. Three consecutive failures within 0.25 mm Z height of each other. All at Z~3mm. I'm very happy with print quality up to that point. (Layer thickness set to 0.25mm) Failure is air printing accompanied by "clunk-clunk" extruder motor sound ". Tear-...

Need settings for flexible filament test run
I'm planning a flexible filament test run on my vertical mount filament drive, and need advice on S3D settings and bed surface treatment. Also, recommended model to print.

Re: Filaflex vs ninjaflex
This has a good chance of making printing with "soft" filament more reliable. Same for ABS, etc. Also makes hot end maintenance less of a pain. http://forum.makergear.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2454 And, after reading Jim's post above, I may be able to modify the design so the vertical mount filament ...

Re: simplify3d v3.0
I have to ask a question about how the Bed Leveling Wizard works Many of us ignore the S3D bed leveling wizard entirely. The 3-point design of the bracket holding the glass plate and bed heater on the M2 makes it most convenient to just put the nozzle directly on top of each of those three points i...

Re: simplify3d v3.0
i dont think they can do anything with the time. its all over the board. some people get results that are slow, some are fast and all at different rates that vary with the print. i am consistently 20-40% longer to print than what it says. A step in the right direction would be to delete the time es...
