I agree about learning design software first. You need to first decide if you want parametric cad software or direct cad (no history or feature tree). Im a solidworks fan but its expensive.

especially considering that a Shapeways SLS part is going to look multiples better than these desktop machines. Trying to run desktop machines for income is a quick path to poverty. my accepted quotes drop off dramatically any higher than that. I hand the model to Shapeways, pick their cheap nylon p...

Thank You. We are just waiting for a printer that comes pre-assembled, pre-configured with dual extruders on it. This year should bring about many ready-made dual extruder printers, so I would guess that MakerGear has those plans as well.

I will order once it comes pre-installed on the machine. My understanding is swapping extruders is a PITA.. No quick disconnect or wire quick connect plugs.

There is another chemical that stratasys uses in their finishing touch vapor system.. Maybe that wont suck in?

Is there a list of most all the main flexible filaments with properties? Looking for something still very flexible and rubber-ish but maybe a little less ozzy/stringy than Ninjaflex.

Thanks ista.. We tried it on a Replicator 2x and the NinjaFlex part just turned into a stingy gobbled mess. Im beginning to realize maybe this material is too soft for extrusion, maybe the company did also.. they now have another material called SemiFlex http://www.ninjaflex3d.com/products/ninjaflex...
