Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*
Finally got time to set this up and make a few prints this week. Works great! A couple things I encountered: - The surface temperature was about 10C lower than the set point for the heated bed. Turned out my heated bed sags a bit in the center, so I put some thermal paste between the two and the te...

Isn't that what the PVA is for?
or are you saying nothing has worked well on your printer so far that you've tried?

Quick update - the 99% alcohol did the trick! Sticking like the day it came in.

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*
Yeah, I'm just using the screw down tabs, but theyre loosened a lot to fit over the PEI. Only issue I'm having, as stated in the tech support thread, is some off peeling on the first layer in specific locations on the bed. I'm trying one suggestion from reddit to clean it with 99% rubbing alcohol to...

Re: bed adhesion with PEI
hm alright.
I've never had any issues with smooth PEI on either of my printers, but if you think that'll help, I'll give it a shot after I finish this set of prints

Re: bed adhesion with PEI
oddly enough I've been having issues with PLA sticking to my PEI sheet as well, but only in certain locations on the sheet. I'll upload a video later, but basically I have 4 circles being printed, and it's always the same two that give me issues. The front two circles lay down like butter, but then ...

Re: Dual Extruder M2 Rev. E Profiles - Simplify3D (FFF files
Never mind it doesn't actually change anything besides the image. The bed is still offset. Now it's just harder to tell. So don't do what I did. I'm gonna go back to your initial profile and just move the prints to where I need them.

Re: Dual Extruder M2 Rev. E Profiles - Simplify3D (FFF files
if it makes it easier, I duplicated the S3D default single extruder profile (save as new), and then just moved all of your settings over, and it works fine now. Having some bed-leveling issues that have nothing to do with this profile, but doing that works just fine. Should ONLY be ok with the left ...
