Re: Horizontal axis inaccurate - M3 SE
switch it over to automatic and let S3D calculate that as it needs The EM won't be valid after large changes (like new temperatures or, heck, different plastics), but you can let the slicer optimize the thread widths / thicknesses / suchlike, with reasonable confidence the right thing will happen, ...

Re: Run Out of "Knobs" to Turn
Have you tried to print 2 or more at once? That almost looks like too much heat as the nozzle is always close .. found this to be an issue when printing some really small miniatures .. Can you post the SLT? I have the .5 nozzle on the M2 atm and won't change it for a few days (have to print some Nin...

Re: Run Out of "Knobs" to Turn
the grove is the Z axis change to the next layer. I have never gotten rid of it no matter what I have done. Orient your part so the the small part sticking off with the support is facing the back of the printer when you are facing the printer and the spool is on your left. Then on the layer tab on t...

Re: New to 3D
The printer gets connected via usb cable and is the accessed using the Simplified 3d, it does not show up as a printer like a inkjet printer. You can also use the slicing software (S3D) to slice the STL file, the write the Gcode to a SD card. you can then move the SD card to the printers card reader...

Re: New to 3D
Feel free to pm me if you run into issues. If you are using simplified 3D I highly recommend joining their forum and reading all of their docs and watching the videos in the support area. The Slicer is the hardest thing to get a handle on. The m2 is a solid machine that will do what it is supposed t...

Re: New to 3D
turtleman, I just wanted to make you aware if you are not already, 3D printing is not plug and play. There will be a few months of frustration (I just got my M2 last Feb) with everything you need to figure out and lean. Good luck and be prepared to have your free time consumed!

Re: Nozzle diameter settings
Settings? I mean you have to set calibrate your starting height and extrusion multiplier with a calibration square just like change any nozzle and/or filament. I can not do that for you. The only other thing that is nozzle specific that needs to be set prior to calibrations is the extrusion width. I...
