Re: Ringing?

I had ringing problems after a couple years when my belts had stretched/loosened. Tightening them definitely improved things a lot.

Re: M2 just stops printing/moving

I looked, and there aren't any instructions I could find that are specific to this. The thermistor & the heater are held into the hotend block by small set screws. Here are instructions from removing the hot end, (although it sounds like you already know how to do that): https://makergear.zendesk.co...

Re: M2 just stops printing/moving

Does it stop at exactly the same spot, or is it random. If it's random, I suspect a loose/busted wire someplace. If it stops at the same spot, that suggests there's something in the gcode that isn't right.

Re: Prusaslicer 2.x

Thanks! I've attached the config bundle. I'm not real happy with their system. I have no idea what is being exported, and whether it includes any proprietary info on some of my print jobs from the "Plater" tab. Because they store info & settings in four different places internally, it's not nearly a...

Re: Prusaslicer 2.x

After a lot of tweaking, I have a PS profile working reasonably well on my M2E. I started with Airscape's profile, but if I remember, his was set up for a larger nozzle. Mine is configured for the stock 0.35 mm nozzle. I'll see if I can figure out how to export it the next time I have PS up & runnin...

Re: Motherboard Fan?

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems to be running OK now once it got nudged, but I have a spare on the way. I recall seeing a note someplace that the extruder fan & the motherboard fan are in parallel, so they should both run whenever the hotend is over 50C. I'm keeping an eye on it until I have so...

Motherboard Fan?

I just noticed that the motherboard fan on my 4 year old M2E isn't running. Is this thermostatically controlled, or has my fan died? I did a quick search, but came up empty.

Re: RAMBo Version?

I was specifically interested in my July 2017 M2E, which I bought in the "kit" version. My assembly instructions aren't data, but the photo of the board matches the RAMBo Ver.1.4 board on the GitHub RAMBo site. Although I think I'm safe, it's still not totally cut & dried. The M2E manual is data 201...

Re: RAMBo Version?

I didn't want to stop printing long enough to take the cover off my RAMBo & check the Rev on the PCB. I checked out the picture of the RAMBo Ver. 1.4 board ( https://reprap.org/wiki/Rambo_v1.4 ) against the picture in the M2E kit assembly guide ( https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0030/7372/files/kit...
