Re: Continuing prints after a black out

You're right... doesn't seem to be a good solution, eventhough all the manual process described is a pain in the ***! But, maybe it's the best solution after all... Another question related: - What are the advantages of the LCD screen? I don't have it, but I'm planning to buy it along with the 2nd e...

Humanoid Educational Robot

I'm printing parts for a project of a company that's trying to create an educational Robot. Basically, each robot takes aroud 100 hours to be fully printed and I've divided the parts to have 6 loads of the machine. The parts are all hollow, so I had to print with tons of support! The outter surfaces...

Re: Continuing prints after a black out

OMG! :o Really? Tweaking the Z0 wouldn't be something usefull? I COULD continue prints (after a power fail) when they were not too high, by just starting at some height from advanced panel in S3D. That way the result is not awesome (again, contraction of the part over the bed if it's ABS, lack of ac...

Continuing prints after a black out

Good night everyone! I basically print from an SD card and w/o connection to the computer...And I don't have the LCD screen so far... therefore, I lose control of my prints after I lunch. The reason I disconnect my computer is because 2-3 times it causes the print to stop (don't know the reason, jus...

Re: Replacement for my PS!

Actually, MG support allow me to use a 350W PS! They stated I'll work, close to the limit. And, I'm already using my MG with that PS, at least until I have the original one fixed.

I leave this answer in case somebody else has the same problem! ;)

Greetings!

Replacement for my PS!

Good morning!! My power source stopped working (after plugged to 220v with the switch at 110v!!!) so I need an urgent replacement for it. Actually I'm looking for a 24v 450w 10A PS in Porto Alegre, Brazil...but I'm not getting it. I have a 10 days delay in order to have one from other suppliers in B...

Borosilicate Glass broken :(

Hello! Yesterday I broke my only-unique-weird borosilicate glass that originally came with my M2... It actually kept one piece by the kapton tape, but it's completelly broken in the half. I even printed over it... but it's a little bit unleveled and insecured. I've tried to find that kind of glass h...

Re: Printing with supports in S3D

The mold sugestion is great. I might apply it soon. About the part, I actually printed it in two half with a guide in one of them... and it's perfect. The sides are not curved anymore... but I'll try to do the mold thing. IMG_20161021_102527730.jpg IMG_20161021_102552264.jpg Thanks a lot for the sug...

Re: Printing with supports in S3D

I'll try that way then.
Thinking in printing it in two parts will make it a lot more easier.
The curved sides are necessary, anyway, I might try to curve them after, as you suggested too.

Thanks a lot Sthone!
