Re: What Is Wrong?
I print PLA at from 200-205°, so your 208 is not unreasonably high. (The lower you can go with PLA though, the better off your prints will be, so you could try taking it down a few and see if it looks any better.)

No, I only set up the profiles for the filament I had used. If you know the correct settings for temperatures, you can modify one of the support profiles for that and save it under a different name. Should be a fair starting point.

Re: Installing software on Upgraded Dual Extruder M2
Might be running a little too hot...I tend to do about 205 for PLA. (Keep that first layer from being too soft and getting squished.

No, you just run through the process with one of the extruders, then you set the depth of the second one in relation to the first one.
(That part comes later in the Dual Extruder part of the write-up in the Beginner's Guide.)

Re: Dual Extruder M2 Rev. E Profiles - Simplify3D (FFF files
Yet again I thank you for posting tips so freely. I just ordered a dual extruder (arrives tomorrow 3/8) and I've been poring over these posts. It still blows my mind that a hedgehog told me how to swap filament midprint for the hedgehog I was printing a few months back. Yeah, I remember that...chuc...
