Re: Klipper

I'm not sure. I expect that a higher temperature may be required due to the high extrusion rate. I may give it a shot, but having a better cooling solution would also be very helpful as I am just using the stock part cooling fan with no ducting to concentrate the flow of air on the part being printed.

Re: Klipper

I know this is an old post, but in case anyone is interested, I created a basic configuration and was able to print with it etc. I have submitted a pull request to get my configuration added to the repository for others to be able to use and test with. My printer is from ~2016, the 24v variant with ...

Re: nema17 dampers

I finally put my dampers on....it's soo awesome! So quiet. Dare I say the print quality looks its best ever. I have only run one print though. I'd be interested to see how a tall skinny part comes out. I haven't had any issues with mine at this point. The only downside is that the fans seem too lou...

Filament Tuning Process in S3D

All, Is there any documentation that I can follow that will allow me to optimize my settings for each type of filament? The speed settings are pretty clear, but I have a poor understanding of how to set the proper amount of retraction, when to use Coast, Wipe, and ZHop along with how to properly tun...

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling Kit (Beta)

Not that anybody else is going to try implementing the auto-leveling with random hardware purchased through Amazon, but for the record, the 2mm proximity sensor does NOT work with the Zebra plate. However, it does work on a strip of copper tape, so I think the problem is the thickness of the Zebra ...

Do the wire fan guards actually make it quieter?

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling Kit (Beta)

All,

Given that the sensor is good for 3-4mm, will it not detect the heat spreader through the glass? I ordered one of the sensors from Amazon since the site shows as being out of them, so I guess I will find out.. :D

Re: Fan guards

What fans are you guys replacing them with?

If the CFM is at least the same as the stock fans and they are quieter, that seems like a win all around.

Re: Best of Day 2

Thank you... :-)

Jim,

It does indeed look similar. I think I am going to try your design in the "clear" PETG.
