Re: Simpllify3D Material settings make no sense?!
I think if you go to File > Export FFF Profile, then select the profile/s you want to copy over, you can select a destination on your computer or removable media to store your profiles. Then, on the new computer, click File > Import FFF profiles, and navigate to the files you exported. I just did a ...

Re: tenative test for mesh leveling
Has anybody managed to get mesh leveling working reliably? I see a new pre-release of Marlin dropped a few days ago with new fixes, but I don't have the know how to tweak the settings for the M2  I'd really like to get mesh leveling working as my MIC 6 plate drops in one corner, my rails are b...

Re: Is a skirt really necessary?
The first few mm of the skirt never goes down well on on my prints despite the purge, so if it didn't print the skirt first, it would be the first few mm of the final piece that didn't go down well. Everybody may be different, but I certainly need a skirt. However, you can probably keep the number o...

Saw something similar on Amazon the other day...

Might be worth sticking a fan on if you want to go the whole hog, seems to be make a lot of difference.

Re: Extuder/Electronic Fans not working
hmmm. Then that might answer that mystery. So when and how should my fans switch on?! I've just started a PLA print and nothing has switched on yet

Extuder/Electronic Fans not working
So, I upgraded to the Noctua fans a while back and never got the the electronics and extruder fans running. I thought it might have been a dodgy connection but didn't have a change to do too much digging, but now I have, everything looks ok. The problem is the fans still don't want to play nice. I u...

Re: Accuracy and Nozzle diameter
Thought I'd treat myself to one of those shiny metal motor mounts. Get to checkout - $50 for shipping. I don't think so. MakerGear really need to start making things a little easier for international customers.
Anybody have the drawings for the mount?

Re: best filament for the price
You're likely in the US, but I use these guys in the UK (mainly because I can't seem to find eSun here)
https://rigid.ink/
They tout their thickness tolerance as being the lowest at +/- 0.03mm (not had chance to verify this yet), but it prints well and the selection of colours is good.
