Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
First I need unscrew the PEEK plastic part, right? I cannot get it to budge, i'm holding the PEEK part with my hand and the nozzle with a wrench.

Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
yes, I have done all of the mechanical checks that have been recommended. Tightened belts, cleaned the filament gear and the area around it, assured the screws in the extruder are tight. Hopefully cleaning the barrel and nozzle will do the trick, just couldn't figure out how to safely unscrew the tw...

Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
So my question now is, how do i best take the hot end apart and clean the nozzle/barrel? I see instructions online on how to put it together but not necessarily how to take it apart. My experience with other 3D printers is you need the end to be hot when you take the nozzle off, doesn't seem possibl...

Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
i've taken off the filament driver (plastic part and the gear) and cleaned it out. there was some junk in it, it collected a lot of dust before I put it in an enclosure. I guess there's a possibility my shaft/nozzle needs to be cleaned out. I tried printing this off in bridge material with the proce...

Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
That 'bad noise' sounds like gap fill. Most of your problems look like acute under-extrusion, perhaps from a snagging filament roll or out-of-spec filament. Check your E-Steps for Marlin, make sure they didn't get cosmic-ray-bit-flipped. It should be 491.5 (or 471.5, I can't remember...), Z is 400....

Re: M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
I have not gotten to work much on this issue, but it's at the top of my to-do list. I have done this: I printed this hex shape. It came out fairly well though the top has a small gap, and the build plate was a little too high so the bottom layer is wide. http://imgur.com/jMptdNG,SFCjcuk,sVdA8xZ So t...

M2 (less than month old) suddenly printing poorly
Hey guys, So yesterday I got in blue ABS from intservo, 1.75mm. I printed a few of these parts at 20% infill with not perfect but pretty good quality http://imgur.com/424jDrt Next I printed a few of the parts for the makergear overnight, in a ~4 hour print, 100% infill. They came out looking like th...

Re: Materials printed on M2
I am still having problems with the bridge material curling and coming off the build plate. Any pointers for this material?

Re: Buying the M2: Help me start out right
Did a nut come with the lot for this purpose? I missed that step if it was.
Also, when is the part fan (the 50mm fan) supposed to be on? What exactly is its purpose?

Re: Buying the M2: Help me start out right
So I'm two weeks in since assembling the M2.... and I love it. Quality is MUCH better than the makerbot 2X I was using before, and the nozzle never clogs. The only problem I have had is the need to calibrate the Z height every build. This is because the M4 screw sinks down over time. A simple nylock...
