Maybe this filament will work OK with lower bed temperature... or maybe it just sticks too aggressively to PEI to use it on that kind of surface. ...

I think I've found a technique that works. Heating the build plate to 110ºC makes the filament fairly soft. I have sliced off most of the mass with a sharp razor. I arrived in this thread a bit late, but I'd like to order one with PEI if one is available after first satisfying everybody who got here in a timely manner. I'd like to have a spare plate on hand after a recent printing disaster.

Thanks for the suggestions! Maybe I'll try warming the bed to a higher than normal temp to see if that helps before I go to work with a razor blade. Maybe I should look into getting another PEI+MIC6 plate to keep on hand as a backup.

Got it. I used to print at 190C with my previous printer, but its temperature calibration was so poor (I measured a 10C difference between setpoint and a thermocouple shoved down the extruder path) that I don't know what the actual extrusion temperature was under normal operating conditions.
