Re: Prints shifting during print

A couple of things come to mind: if you are using Simplify3D, its default setting for the "X/Y Axis Movement Speed" in the "Other" tab is set to 18,000 mm/min which is too high and can cause it to skip a tooth. I set mine to 9,000 and my skipping went away. Another issue could be the belt is loose o...

Re: .step vs .stl

.step files are editable CAD files that can be opened in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, etc. Think of them as native files that store the actual model information and are meant to be exchangeable with other software programs. .stl files have been converted to mesh files,...

I thought it would be pretty cool to have a keychain that is a mini M2. I could model one, but in the big scheme of things the priority is kind of lo...

Re: Question on 24v Upgrade Voltage Problem

Strange problem, and just thinking out loud; is the ground wire on the outlet the laptop is plugged into actually grounded? I have a laptop power supply plugged into a two-wire extension cord, eliminating the ground, and at times I can feel "buzzing" with my hands on the aluminum laptop. It never do...

Re: Modular M2 Cabinet

It would be a good idea to cut the pieces for a fourth one while you're at it since you guys with multiple printers seem to have them just appearing all the time!

I print ABS with a bed temp of 80 / head temp at 230, and semiflex at bed temp of 60 / head temp of 250. Both on Fructis #5 hairspray.
