Re: Retrofitting a Duet 2 wifi into Makergear M2 Rev. E
HI Doug, while you're at it, you might reprise your reasons for the modification. I had bought the bl touch kit and made the required new extruder housing then chickened out on the installation fearing that I would screw up the firmware. I had rewritten parts of the firmware on my TinyBoy printer in...

Re: molex part number for rambo bed plug?
for whatever it's worth the plug would be a Molex 39533-7002 euro style with 5.08mm (.200) pin spacing.

molex part number for rambo bed plug?
Somehow, I've managed to fry the bed heater plug on my M2. Does anyone have the molex part number for this plug?

Re: M3/M2 Enclosure
HI Airscapes. I don't have those inches. I built an enclosure for my Sherline 2000 which has worked out wonderfully well. The bench that holds the M2, also has my Granite Surface plate, and the TinyBoy which amazingly I still use for small PLA things. I continue to assume that if I'm just printing P...

Re: M3/M2 Enclosure
Hi Bio.... My shop is very tight which discouraged construction of an enclosure for my M2, so I thought hard about why I needed one. Things I build can sit in hot cars in the afternoon so PLA isn't a good plastic for my work. I looked very hard at ABS which would require and enclosure. I thought abo...

Re: Prusaslicer 2.x
HI Ed, I'd be interested in seeing how you print PETG. I too have switched to it exclusively on the M2. I replaced the glass/kapton print surface with a magnetic sheet system (Wham-Bam-something about concrete rabbits). I had to dial down the bed and extrude temperatures to stop the PETG from bondin...

Re: Initial Z-height in Quick Start
Thanks much.
I cheated, cleaned up the old board which already had the calibration and am using it. I also installed the T-Link switch to the power supply. Octopi is not power through that switch so I can use the CAM to see what'as going on from home as well as monitor octopi via VPN.
