It seems like it is not just changing the spider, but also the Z Endstop, which for me is located at the top of the unit, which will now be on the bottom....

Im printing at 15% infill...maybe that's the issue? I made some more tweaks to the top layers and am printing now. If this still comes up bad I'll send the FFF
