Re: Extruder mount failed

Not sure, what are these printed with? ABS? I've used lithium grease on the rails. The last 8-10 bottles that I'm printing, I'm wiping the neck of the bottle with a small amount of acetone but its a very small amount. Could acetone vapor have caused embrittlement in the heated environment? To be cle...

Re: Glow in the dark - need suggestions

Sorry, my ipad and the forum software don't get along. The 2nd part of my post disappeared. I'd second Colorfabb. Hatchbox has been hit or miss for me. Re: Snapped Hot End

Woot, thanks for the tip on the c-clamp. I heat cycled it without much success but the c-clamp did the trick. Replacement barrel arrives Friday so hot block vs freezer test imminent. :)

Re: Maghold Build Plate?

I would too. I'm going try this solution to handle the leveling. http://forum.makergear.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3167 I like the idea of the maghold flexibility because the tinkering is addictive. I've worked my way through plain glass, glue stick, hair spray, and PEI on my first roll of PLA. I've g...
