Cut with a metal hack saw ($2 small version from Home Depot or dollar tree works fine.) try not to skip over threads with saw. After cutting put a 45 degree chamfer on cut end by putting knob in vice and using a metal file on it or passing over a sander.

Thanks, I agree with you but the damage was only in one very specific area, maybe the print caught on the nozzle.
No fan at all? Don’t you need it for bridging?

what could have caused this shift?
IMG_6691.jpg what could have caused this shift during a very long print? Also I am printing in PETG and often I get the part curling up off the bottom and ruining the geometry. Is there anything I can do to reduce the curl and peel of prints? Increase fan? Kill fan? print in enclosure? Change part ...

I would like to reduce my acceleration and jerk to a minimum to get the best quality possible, what are your recommended minimum settings?

Thanks I just resolved, I realized I purchased the wrong fan, but I had one of the correct ones with only two leads out. All is working. Thank you

I assume the two blacks are common, which color on the nocuta corresponds to the red? also which way ...
