Steve, I'll likely be upgrading my hot end soon here, so there's little point in making additions to the v3b setup at the moment, however thanks for the offer.

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling
It's quite possible that I'm missing something here, so please take these suggestions for what they are worth. I find that I am having to constantly adjust my bed for level, and its usually because I'll begin a print that is turning out like shit and when I check the bed for level and distance in re...

Re: Choosing a new hot end
I there any specific reasoning for going with the v6 over the v4 or vice versa?
from what I understand the v4 is essentially plug and play and Im not sure if its all metal or not. The v6 seems to be all metal and I'm not sure if its plug and play or not.

Choosing a new hot end
Sorry ahead of time if theres another thread discussing this, as it seems like it would be a common topic but searching "hot ends" came up empty-handed. I was going to place an order to makergear for some spare parts, mainly some new .35 nozzles and heater tubes, a .25 nozzle to try out and some fan...

Re: consistent issues with first layer only
Well guys I appreciate the help and I feel a little foolish.. when I was leveling the bed I was doing it cold and with a piece of paper, and my nozzle might have had a bit of a clog from all the crammed up attempts leading up until now. I decided to swap on my spare v3b, heat up the nozzle and bed t...

Re: consistent issues with first layer only
Thanks jimc, I've set everything back to 100's and did a bed level and the glass is definitely higher in the center. I'm heading to bed right away, but tomorrow I'll get to work on straightening out my z axis issues. I'll post what I come up with

Re: consistent issues with first layer only
First off, thanks for the replies! I cant say with absolute certainty that my build plate is irregular but when I use the bed level wizard and get 100 microns at the edges and then bring the nozzle to the center of the build plate its touching the glass. Are the stock settings in Simplify3D for the ...

consistent issues with first layer only
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I just got my kit assembled last week and have been printing and calibrating since then. While I'm quite new to 3d printing I do have a fairly considerable mechanical background. My issue is this, I was able to set up my .2mm settings fairly well, to the point wher...

Re: V4 Single Extruder Fan Shroud
I wanted to mention for anyone that is considering this for an M2 equipped with the v3b, it will not fit, it hits the bed before the nozzle. Just a heads up.
