You could use your low amperage switch to control a higher powered solid state relay.

Would it be too simple to just replace the breaker? -- they are cheap.

They have raised the price on the assembled units, but now shipping (USA) is free, so in a sense a price reduction. Not sure what they will do if kits become available again. If the timing is right I'll get one.

I sent him an e-mail and said a few words about his M2 disadvantages. I was nice, but pointed out that his research was a little off. Hopefully he will get the e-mail and at least revise his report to reflect the facts.
