I have 80mm/s on default printing speed and and like 100 or 200 on the x/y.
I feel like these are too fast.
What do you guys suggest?

Re: Extruder stopped working, need help
Ok so the extrude stopping during a print is still happening. I even changed the filament thinking it might have been that spool/color (hatchbox purple abs @240 btw). I've got some cleaning filament on the way, but it wont be here until tomorrow. Aside from soaking the nozzle in acetone (which I've ...

Re: Extruder stopped working, need help
Wait... Put this on ice for a sec.
I need to check something first... (get it up to temp first.)
I still need the pinout for the sd card though.

Extruder stopped working, need help
So, this morning i trying a print, and the extruder stopped working. i know i had the tension screw a bit lax so i stopped the print and figured i would work on it tonight after i got off. Re: How bad will this tall skinny part fail.... Before i pri
Actually it's exactly the opposite for ABS - don't speed it up, but try to keep it warm while it prints. Sorry for the late reply. And thanks for the suggestions. Jules, im not following your comment in relation to slowing the print speed down and nozzle temp. I am a dense one though. :) Matt, you ...

Re: How bad will this tall skinny part fail.... Before i pri
Ok, so i had a forced break-time. While on this break, i started thinking about slowing the print down as per jules recommendation. What about the relationship of speed to extruder temp? I'm assuming that the temp should really be dropped because the filament is being extruded slower, I.E more time ...

Re: How bad will this tall skinny part fail.... Before i pri
Thanks all, I'm printing with ABS. It's a rod for a slatwall hook that im designing. Most of the products i will be hanging on it are light. In total, maybe 6-8 ounces once loaded up. I decided to go ahead and make this a learning experience. Im going to do a couple of prints at various speeds to se...
