Re: Bird Kinetic Sculpture

Wow, that is amazing. What an awesome piece of art. It would be so cool if you share that on thingiverse. I'd love to put my M2 to work on that :-)

Maker Shed 3D Shootout

Hi All,

Just got the latest Make magazine which this month covers 3d printers. I love my M2, but am wondering why isn't the M2 ever in the shootout or covered by Make?

Cheers

Re: Don Foley Astrolabe Tree Ornament

@jimc why can't you just tell us it took a couple of hours :-) It looks amazing as usual, well done and thanks for sharing, it's always great to see what you do. It leaves the rest of us hoping that one day we can learn it as well.

Happy Holidays

The technique is to first create the 3D path for the trefoil knot, for which there are formulas you can find online (or I can give them if y...

Re: Trefoil Knot Mold

This looks amazing and is something I've wanted to try...can you elaborate on your techniques..what software did you use to create the mortice and tenon on the original drawing and how did you break it all up into the smaller chunks? Also, what plaster are you using to make the model?

Thanks
Michael
