Re: Combining .STL files
Yeah, I was able to get by the fault, but I'm looking at doing something different after playing around with it. What I want is that the parts that get cut out, needs to be black. I tried to print a yellow case with the bee logo, then I made a black abs slurry and filled inbetween the parts that wer...

Re: Combining .STL files
The key to doing any of the Boolean functions in Meshmixer is to use the "make solid" function on all parts being used beforehand. So it is actually very simple. Edit>make solid>sharp edge preserve, accuracy to max, resolution around 260, update then accept. Do this on the part to be cut and the pa...

The case probably has its faults, as I for one don't particularly care for it and I am using this as a learning experience, ...

Combining .STL files
I have a customer that went to Georgia Tech and he wanted me to print a case for him using their colors of black and yellow. Well, I told him since I have already printed a case for his brother with the same two colors that I would try to make his case for his BBQ controller better then his brothers...

Re: stopped printing
I have had the same happen to me, and it took awhile to figure out. I wish the connector had a locking connector instead of a push in

Re: a few accessories to improve the M2
It looks like just a piece of sponge that's been cut in half. You put a few drops of oil to soften the sponge a bit.

Re: Look whats under MY tree >:)
If you're really careful, you can peel back the tape and sneak it out at night while everyone is asleep. Just make sure you don't print anything that takes 8 hours+ This sounds like me when I was a kid. My mom hide the Xmas gifts in her closet and I happened to find them. One of my gifts was a Texa...

Re: Printer (Rev E) not detected by windows
I had a problem communicating with my printer a couple of times and I found that the power connection for the printer does not get fully pressed in, it will have problems. My printer would just sit there and not do anything when I tried to print.
