Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
Next time it happens, copy the final commands and post them here so the guys can take a look. Just leave S3D open on the Communications tab while the print is running over USB. (Make sure you have Verbose checked in order to see them all.) CP.jpg Thanks, I do have verbose checked, however it seems ...

Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
It was still showing commands...So from it's perspective, it was still connected to the M2 and the M2 was still showing commands....

Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
Okay I just watched this happen again on a 2hr print... The printer just stopped in place. The extruder was over the print itself. After a few moments the bed lowered (kinda like when you do the S3D Bed Leveling wizard and it times out)... S3D was still connected this time, but I could not find any ...

Re: Need tips on lubricating M2
I added dampers to mine and quieter fans...
I think I'm probably not lubricating the machine properly....

Need tips on lubricating M2
I've noticed my M2 makes a bit of a "chirp" (squeak?) and I wanted to get best practices (and "how") to lubricate the M2...
I've put the white lithium grease into grooves and such but maybe in doing it wrong....
In any case the chirp is making me crazy so I thought I'd ask!
Thank you!

Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
Sounds to me like the rambo is resetting. That may be from heat or loose connection. Since many people have their m2 in an enclosure i would bet its not heat related. I like the sound of it simply being a loose connection! Any thoughts of where they typically are that cause a reset? (at the board? ...

Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
I know this sounds backwards but have you tried just printing from S3D and not using the SD card? Least this way you can see whats going on in the log when it stops. Is the print head parked in the home position when you come back and notice the print stop? No, I haven't done that since the early d...

Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
I've had a print simply stop again while disconnected from USB... This file was supposed to take 5+hrs (based on S3D). It ran for a few and when I came back the bed was lowered and the print had stopped... The enclosure temperature was 82 degrees. The file seems to be complete from what I can tell. ...

Re: Max operating temperature?
I had been trying to print some brackets in PETG at 100% infill. S3D said it would take 21hrs, but it is more like 36+ hrs. I had 3 failed attempts where the print job just stopped as if the print was finished...but the print was not completed. Each failure was at different stages of completion. I t...

Re: Max operating temperature?
The machine. I'm trying to determine if the machine was overheating in my enclosure, possibly causing the long print to fail.
Thx!
