I just finished dealing with this same problem. The issue in my case was caused by too much resistance in the path from the spool to the extruder as well as the filament on the spool having crossed over itself a few times causing something of a really loose knot. is the hot end heated up? if the extruder motor isn't even turning it may be due to the hot end not being at the correct temp.

nice! i think the one i printed took about 4.5 hours. do you guys know of a way to get vase mode to print two layers for the wall instead of 1? the walls seem pretty flimsy as is.

Ok I'll go first. This is one of the many twisted vases on Thingiverse. Printed it more for learning than anything else, but it turned out alright I think.

did you remove the previous install before you installed the new version?
