M3-ID trying to print on wrong toolhead
Hi, I'm using S3D to slice, using the stock M3-ID Rev1 PETG profile, with 'Single Mode - Right Extruder (T1)' selected. When the model is sliced, the S3D preview screen shows all layers being printed with Tool1. However, when I upload the file to the printer via the web interface, the right (T1) ext...

Re: Octoprint module SD card access?
Sounds like a typical auto repair manual entry from the 60's for how to replace the oil filter: "Step 1: Remove Engine" .

Octoprint module SD card access?
I'm a new M3-ID user, and new to the Octoprint world too. There was a mention in this forum about the advisability of having a backup copy of the Octoprint SD card in case the original gets scrambled with too many power cycles without properly shutting down the Octoprint. So, I want to do that, but ...

Re: No Power Switch?
Thanks to both responders - I properly shut down Octoprint as per the manual, and then also found the power switch on the power module - yay!
You mentioned an SD card - is that part of the Octoprint module? Where do I find this critter so I can indeed make a backup
TIA,
Frank

No Power Switch?
New M3-ID owner. Sometimes I go for several days without printing anything and I would like to power the M3 down when I'm not using it, as there is a small amount of noise from the power supply, and I see no reason to kill electrons unnecessarily. Unfortunately I can't find any way to power it down ...

Load/Unload filament?
I'm a new M3-ID owner, coming from the PowerSpec 3D Pro and Prusa Mk3S world. I was fumbling around trying to find the 'Load/Unload Filament' function in Octoprint, only to find that AFAICT, there is no such function. In order to load and/or unload filament, I had to manually heat the extruder(s) an...

Single extruder print causes extruder collision
Hi, I just tried to print a small 20mm calibration cube using my brand-new M3 ID, using my licensed copy of S3D and the M3 ID profiles from Makergear. I uploaded the gcode the Octoprint server and started the print. At first the printer didn't want to start at all, and eventually produced a 'probe f...

Getting started with new M3 ID and Octoprint
Hi, Just received my brand-new M3 ID printer, and have worked my way through the initial setup and initial keychain print - very nice! However, I'm at a bit of a loss now how to proceed from here, as I am unfamiliar with an Octoprint-centric setup; all my previous printers had control panels and/or ...
