Tape tape like this (http://www.supergluecorp.com/?q=super-g ... e-red-25ft) around the heater block. This is a common thing on j-heads, the heat creeps the hotend when there is barely movement, like printing the first layer extremely slow.

With simplify3d you can raise the "minimum travel for retraction" to 6 or more mm. Most of the time the oozing appears when the printer is forced to slow down. Yes, same here: While printing something something complex these shifts happen. What I did is lower accel and jerk. When I double the default values this effect vanishes but the artefacts are unaceptable.

I might sound like a wisenheimer but in my opinion the damper should be bend by the belt tension. Can you imagine that a slight angle on the pulley would move the belt upwards? Furthermore I guess most of the noise is produced by the turning point of the belt.
