Re: printing bite plate
You can attempt separate prints, skipping the alignment holes part, very easily in S3D. Adjust the model down into/under the bed by about half the thickness, in s3d before slicing (You can do this by exact amounts using the dialog). It won't print the bits under the bed. You will get a perfectly fla...

I emailed them today, they hope to start sending them out this week. Yay!!
Re: White PLA
Sounds like its not extruding cleanly, which could either be too low temperature (though if you say it happens at 230, seems unlikely to be the issue), or the hotend is getting semi-clogged somehow - which I would guess can happen if its dragging thru the previous layer. Does the first layer look ok...

Re: Nerf Rocket Injection Mold
How toxic is that insulation foam stuff ? If your two-year-old is anything like mine, anything soft and foamy and bitable will ultimately end in their mouth, most likely with chunks bitten into it before you catch them. Re: 2 Additional Thermosistors?
Ah good question - I'd like to know this too. I just set up a lcd temperature controller in my enclosure (though haven't hooked it up to the fan yet), and see a big difference between temp at the top and bottom of the box (hot air rises - who knew!). Would be nice to monitor both halves. If I can ge...

Re: Getting running in ABS as soon as I get my M2
ABS suffers from shrinkage as its printed, so I have found I have to normally re-adjust my models to account for it. I have heard some people mention just applying a constant scaling factor, but that never worked well for me. I would expect you'll get within 0.1mm tolerance in consistency across pri...

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure
I have an sct-1000 on order, should be here today. I hope to keep all the electronic inside the case though (especially the PSU which has the noisiest fan of all) Anyone know what the safe environment temp is for the Rambo board ? The specs on the power supply say up to 60C (which is way higher than...
