Re: PEI cracking

I will try to post a picture later today. I believe it's one I received from you, I'm not 100% sure though as I had made one too, and my memory is not that good, lol.

PEI cracking

I just finished a print and while starting my next print i noticed the PEI cracked in a few places. What would cause it to crack and how would I prevent this from happening. I assume that this is stress related, I do run at 100 bed temp. Luckily, the 7 hour print I'm doing tonight, is not ruin by a ...

I also print with ABS only and I never had issues with melting any wires or connection.

Re: Worn out filament drive?

I have had this issue on and off, and recently I had the issue I took the drive apart and took a t-handle Allen wrench, I'm not sure what size it was but it was a tight fit, and I pushed it in all the way a few times and twisted it. I pit all back together and it's been great ever since. Worth a try...

Question using Meshmixer

If I have wall thickness that is less then .40mm, for simplicity, an object like a net or criss crossing walls(logo). How do I change the change the wall thickness globally to a dimension that will print them without having to change the extrusion width.

Re: Rapid-prototyping & small scale production

I used to work in a vinyl extrusion place making parts for Windows and doors. Very neat video.

One question. How in the worlcd were you able to get prints so close to the edge? I have used micrometer and use mic6 plate/PEI and I still can't get that close to the edge without parts coming off.

Raspberrypi now has a RaspberryPi zero W version. The boards are $10 and are very small. They can be very hard to get though.

Re: In the middle of a enclosure build, need some advice

I run with a temp of 105° for ABS and get great result printing on PEI. I make cases for my customers and recently went to a new version that had tons of issues printing with the stock bed, and everything I could think of to help with warping in the corners. Not until I went to PEI with a bed temp o...

Re: In the middle of a enclosure build, need some advice

I went to Amazon and picked up an AC infinity air plate T3 $50. It's for electronic cabinets. The highest setting is 110°f and it usually holds the temp around 105°. Very simple to install and it comes with templates to cut the holes. My first enclosure, I went the route you are going, but it turned...
