-While probably kitschy, you could have a Twitter feed that looks for #makergearm2 or similar and echo's it. some of us post our fresh prints on twitter and instagram and its a good source for showing off new usage. You will have to police it though since this system is easily exploited by spammers....

I printed a bar test which is aligned along the y axis to show that the grinding doesn't happen with Y moves. While it "prints" the Skirt it will grind.

If you only want to do 1:29 figurines in house, an DLP/SLA printer would be your best bet. they will cost more in the long run than an M2 for sure, but they have the detail that you're looking for.
