Re: M2 NinjaFlex Simplify3D Profile
JSC was definitely right. Printed a small piece with the 25% extrusion multiplier... very thin spinder webs . I put it back to 90% and it looks immensely better and extrudes as i would imagine it would now. Is it possible to do support with ninja flex? Anyone know?

Re: M2 NinjaFlex Simplify3D Profile
Sweet, also what is Bed Temperature suppose to be at for ninja flex as well as extrusion multiplier (for flow rate control). I would assume very low multiplier (maybe 25%?)

Re: M2 NinjaFlex Simplify3D Profile
I know this is off topic, but can the v3b print the carbon fiber filament by chance ? Like I said I would like to experiment with different filaments. I know your the authority on that though.

Re: M2 NinjaFlex Simplify3D Profile
Should I just order an e3d instead? I don't want to clog my only nozzle. It'd been perfect for the last 5 months. Also I would like to start printing in poly carbonates and carbon fiber varieties as well as super high strength filaments. So it would be a good investment if the v3b can't do it.

Re: M2 NinjaFlex Simplify3D Profile
Jimc,
how would you recommend cleaning the v3b hot end so that the Ninjaflex has no problems pushing right on through?
Also as for bed prep can I just use the Elmer glue prep that I have been doing and have massive success with?

UPDATE (05.12.15): In this thread and through some tweaking we have collectively put together a profile. So far it has only been tested out on the V3b hot end. Please reply if you try it on another hot end so I may update this for the community. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9rxe4hbr7yssvey/AAA59Rfv6Z-...

Re: Plastic Manufacturing Methods
I was just on an interview and they showed me how they could make injection molds with ABS (derivative of ABS). It was pretty awesome to see.

Plastic Manufacturing Methods
Hey all, Wanted to see what the knowledge was of the industry since after I am done prototyping my patent stuff I wanted to build a business off of it. HOWEVER plastic molds for decently small, but simple parts seem to be around the $15,000 range (custompart.net). I have 15 different pieces that go ...

Re: What causes this kind of warping with ABS?
I am running that fan (50 mm aimed at stepper) during hte print, but it does get very hot during prints.
Is PET+ the same cost of ABS? I'm printing very large pieces (starts at 8 hour build times, up to 24 hours) and plenty of them (33 pieces in total)
