Doesn't get wrapped around, it is bubbly in that there are areas where it stops feeding and has holes.. I have seen the sliding glass post and seen it in action on my own M2. I made plastic (imagine that with a 3d printer ) shims to install between the glass and rubber corners to keep it from moving without cranking down on the plastic hold downs.
