Heh, it's definitely not just heat shrink.
Yeah, the only fiberglass style tape I could find was the stuff for drywalls which is really thin. The red RTV would seep right through it if I used it.

Yeah, printing over USB. I rebooted it and it seems as if it's moving at normal speed. I'll give it a bit on this second attempt and see how it does.
