Rev E. prints slower than Rev. D.
Well, I picked me up a used Rev. E. It's working great! However, it prints slower than my Rev. D. A print time that should take an 1.5 hours takes 2 hours.
I use the same FFF settings on both machines from simplify 3D. Don't know really where to begin to trouble shoot this. Any ideas?

Re: First layer sticking issues
I think I solved the problem by just turning off the bed heat!

First layer sticking issues
Hey! I know what you're thinking. "Oh look, another first layer sticking issue problem. There's hundreds of guides about that!" But... my problem is getting my first layer to stick to.. the rest of the print! It sticks fine to the bed. I had two MakerGears. A Rev. D that I brought from MakerGe...

Filament Guide too far right above extruder
Hey guys. So I purchased a used machine and I was testing it out today. Everything is great so far, but there's a small problem. My filament drive is too far to the right over the extruder! No idea how to handle this. Can't find anything in the manual. Is there a screw to loosen to move it back? Her...

Re: Z motor sounds different
Ah, are you supposed to lubricate the z axis rods? I thought I read somewhere that you're not supposed to. some kind of 'clutch' between the motor and the screw One of the great things about stepper motors is their simplicity: one rotating part, no brushes, and nothing to wear out. Absent gross abus...

Z motor sounds different
Hey guys. A couple days ago my Z motor started to sound different. Before it sounded like the normal "Errrrrr" noise. Now it's a quieter, "eeeeeee" noise. Is this a sign that the motor is dying? Thanks.
