Re: E3D V6

A better solution might be to ignore the E3D instructions on the v6 and connect the heating element with the wires going out the right side, opposite of the thermistor. Bring up all wires except for the thermistor up the right side of the hot end, and allow a bit of extra length on the wire! That's...

Re: Need some advice on how to respond

The best thing I can think of is another campaign to get people who have purchased an M2 and like it to post a review on Amazon. You have over 1000 customers but only ~50 reviews. . . there must be more people out there who can be convinced to write you a good review. . I've been meaning to do that...

almost looks like your extrusion multiplier is too low for the configured extrusion width. what is the width set to?

Re: Big Red Beast. A 3D printed quadrotor

nice work! i keep meaning to take some time and sit down to design a mini quad platform for my aeroquad flight controller. right now its in a big, sturdy airframe i rebuilt after i crashed my cyclone. its tough and the thing has a lot of lifting power, but its a bit intimidating to fly around and yo...

Re: E3D V6

so i watched their introductory video and saw the mention of it. then i re-read their assembly instructions and there is zero mention of it.

well i suppose i will go take it off and assemble it the proper way. thanks!

edit: oh man, extrusion consistency is SO much better now. imagine that! ;)

Re: E3D V6

so you're supposed to run that tube down into the hotend? the instructions don't mention it, nor do any videos i can find of assembling it. i've been printing makergear abs without it and it has jammed once or twice, but i believe that was due to me still needing to tweek my extrusion multiplier and...

Re: Dual Extruder Upgrade - Limited Availability

yeah so far all ive read about printing PC says that you pretty much need a heated bed chamber. i wonder if i just setup my heat gun to blow on it the whole time i can get away without having one. eh now that i think about it though, i don't really want a higher electric bill so i'll pass on that li...
