Instructions were emailed about an hour ago.
Re: Testers Needed
got my package today and the email. havent really looked it over yet. i will start digging into it tonight.
Re: Testers Needed
ok going through the instructions. all look pretty good and easy to understand. there are 2 things though. the link to arduino 1.5.5 isnt good. you can easily find it on the arduino website so no biggie. also the mac and windows app download link is also no good. gives a 404 error, says there is nothing there.

The Windows link is OK. Mac link is broken though.
Re: Testers Needed
nope i get a 404 error with both of them. weird
Re: Testers Needed
ok found that problem. dont click the link in the pdf instructions. copy and paste it into your browser. it works that way and i was able to download. couldnt get the mac app to work. kept saying it was incompatible with my version of osx. im running 10.11.2 which is a public beta so probably has something to do with it. i was able to open it up on my windows 10 machine no problem.
i have the whole kit installed, firmware uploaded and im ready to go here. couple notes so far. leveling aside, this is a fantastic kit. it gets rid of all those cushy springs and the 1/8" thick mounting plate that the adjusting screws go through. the spider mounting solid to the rail carriage firms up the whole assembly. i also really like the z switch mount. that is so much more solid as well. its designed very nice. still not into the stacked rubber corners but i never liked those which is why i made my adjustable clamping ones but that just personal preference. A+ to rick and the team so far. i'll run though the app tomorrow and see how it all works out.
one last thing for tonight. took a very quick look at the windows app. it appears to be formatted a little funny. there are no scroll bars and i cant resize the window. this makes the text hidden and unreadable because i need to scroll down and some text disappears behind the pictures. one example, on the first page of it you click the little yes box. that box and the yes text is on top of the last sentence.
