At this point I'm surprised Atmel hasn't released a "black edition" or whatever version of the ATMega that's the same 8-bit core just clocked at 80mhz with double the RAM. I'm sure the Marlin devs would be happy enough to just multiply the delay numbers by some fixed constant and continue on.
