im not sure how this whole thing works but i believe i have a model of the actual snap part of the fant duct so it can be booleaned into a model of something else to mount it. your more than welcome to it. model some type of clip or bracket that snaps into place.

Was the V4 aluminum mounting plate designed for the sensor? Because now that I see that picture, I think there's a hole in it that is probably specifically for mounting that..

Are you as in the dark about what to do with it as I am - I got it mounted to the new motor mount etc. But there I had to stop.

Jim I will take you up on that model. I should be able to merge it with the mounting bracket they provide and see if it will do the job.

Not quite.. I can tell you there is plenty of info on this mod to be found on google. I have read through some it and it does not seem overly difficult .If I can find the one article I will post it.The sensor mounts to the printed extruder bracket.

That was informative. Since the wiring already has a connector I am assuming the resistors are in place.

I am going to have to give some thought to how I am going to mount this thing. I may have to create a new fan mount for the E3D fan.

Jim can you shoot me those files and I will try crank something out tonight
