Not too expensive really. I will have to look more into the wiring though!
Yes that's them, but you have to run 12 volts to each one, they don't work good in series.

These are the power adapters I ordered on eBay, haven't received them yet, will probably be here Monday and I can make sure they work ok.

Let me know if they work, if you ordered a ten pack and don't need all ten let me know! Those little converters look like they would be pretty handy. Do the fans need anything special since they use 3 wires? I see some extra cables, is there an adapter included?

Can't wait to hear about your results!

You don't use the yellow cable, I just roll it back into the shrink tubing. (Its for sending RPM signal to CPU when used on a computer motherboard).

The plug is different than what comes with the M2 so I cut the fan plug off and soldered the fan cables to M2 connector and used shrink tubing to neaten it up.

Actually that was the first time I did this. Last week I replaced all the M2 connectors with a larger Molex type. So now I only have two connectors on the harness. A six pin connector for everything and a two pin that is for the bed fan. I'm keeping several nozzles assembled with fans and drives, so it lets me do a quick change with these connectors.

If it wasnt for my loud bed fan, the printer would be near silent from a few feet away. I cannot believe the difference this makes! This addition should definitely be considered for future versions of the makergear. I cant wait to see what prints that dont use the fan will sound like!!

They've got one heck of a mark-up on those things. (I sure didn't pay $45 for the ones i picked up on EBay.)
