Marlin v1.02 for the M2

Hi all,

I decided to upgrade my firmware from the original M2Marlin24r2 firmware (version 1.0.0RC2) (for 24V / 40W heater) to the latest stable Marlin version 1.02. I have only tested this with Arduino 1.5.5.

- I have kept all the settings stock, except that the extruder and case fan will automatically activate when the extruder hits 50 degrees C. Below 50 it stays off, so it's a bit quieter at least.

- I have enabled thermal runaway protection with default settings.

Open up the sketch in Arduino 1.5.5 and upload to the printer. (Using version 1.6.x of Arduino to compile the firmware causes problems, so stick to 1.5.5)

I have done some test prints and they have come out fine.

The main reason I have built this firmware is in preparation for my Viki 2.0 LCD display. As soon as it arrives (within a week or so of this writing) I will test it out and then upload the Viki 2.0 version of the firmware.

Good morning!
I know this is an old post, but I got a VIki2 LCD screen and I can't seem to find any certain instruction/firmware to install it. It seems the threads were stopped back in 2015 and nobody could actually install it!??

I have an M2 with old Z engine (silver/black) 24v PS and V4 hotend.

I appreciate a lot your help! Besides this question here, I'll create a post...

Best regards!
